The best-kept secret in Europe have finally been persuaded to release a single, and it's a cracking double-a side.  "We Sound Amazing But We Look Like Shit" is a tribute to that very "compliment" they received at last summer's Blast Off festival, and "Wreckin' Rome" is a searing new version of their classic with the great Johnny Casino featuring on guitar.

Who do they sound like?  No one, famously.  The best effort to date is "Sha Na Na merged with Black Flag".

Malmo may not make you think of snotty fuzz ‚ as Sweden is generally more famous for the likes of Ace of Base ‚ but if you ask The Branded who the hell Ace of Base are, they just shrug, snigger and whack you round the head with a big simple fist. For a gang of ladies who want to "rock'n'roll all night and party every day", there nonetheless beats a romantic heart at the centre of The Priscillas' day-glo world. goal: to get toes tappin’ and mitts clappin’ to their fuzzed-out,
reverb-drenched tunes. And you'll know the Phantom Jet sound when you

Vox tube amps, and fuzz pedals. Through their fresh compositions on
“Cavernicola,” Los Peyotes truly do an outstanding job at gathering
the best elements of each era in the genre. Their influences reveal an

Billy Childish's first band, The Pop Rivets came together in England during 1977 along with the punk wave that was then sweeping the music scene. Borrowing money they recorded an album in 1979, Greatest Hits which make up some of the tracks on this retrospective. Their sound was unpolished, loud and exciting. Hear what you missed, NOW!
